Einstein Blend / IllumiNeuro (NA-Semax + NA-Selank + Pinealon + PE-22-28)
Also searched as: einstein, einstein blend, einstein peptide, einstein peptide blend, einstein stack
A ready-mixed vial sold online for focus, memory and mood, usually as "IllumiNeuro" or "the Einstein Blend": N-Acetyl Semax Amidate, N-Acetyl Selank, Pinealon and PE-22-28. Amounts vary by seller (typically 20mg NA-Semax with 10mg each of the others, though one seller lists 6mg NA-Selank). Selank is Grade C, but its small Russian human studies are of plain Selank. The other three are Grade D, so the blend is only as proven as its weakest members.
In plain English
Why people buy it
People buy it for focus, memory and mood. Sellers call it the Einstein Blend.
What we actually know
- •It mixes four products in one bottle: NA-Semax, NA-Selank, Pinealon and PE-22-28.
- •NA-Semax is a changed version of the Russian medicine Semax. The changed version has never been tested in people.
- •This blend contains NA-Selank. Small Russian studies found Selank eased anxiety, but they were small and not repeated.
- •Pinealon and PE-22-28 have only been tested in lab dishes and animals. The four together have never been tested in anyone.
What might happen
- •Maybe nothing you would notice. Most of the brain claims come from animals.
- •Nobody knows the long-term effects of changing brain chemistry with four products at once.
- •PE-22-28 acts on something also found in the heart and pain nerves. Effects there are unknown.
- •Depression and anxiety are serious. Trying untested products may delay treatment that is known to work.
- •It is sold online as 'not for human use'. Nobody checks what is in the bottle, or if it is clean.
- •NA-Semax and PE-22-28 are banned in sport at all times, as unapproved drugs.
Bottom line
Four brain products in one bottle, none licensed in the UK. Apart from small Russian Selank studies, nobody has tested them in people.

Mixed evidence: the weakest link is Grade D — animal data only.
Stacking peptides doesn't combine their evidence — it combines their unknowns. A stack is only as proven as its members.
01 — What is it?
IllumiNeuro, nicknamed "the Einstein Blend", is not a single drug. It is a pre-mixed powder vial of four short peptides: N-Acetyl Semax Amidate (NA-Semax), N-Acetyl Selank (NA-Selank, covered on our Selank page), Pinealon and PE-22-28. A common version contains 20mg NA-Semax and 10mg each of the others (50mg in total), but amounts vary between sellers. It is sold by online "research peptide" shops, labelled for research use only, and passed around as an injectable or nasal brain booster.
02 — Why it's hyped
The sales story is "a whole nootropic stack in one vial". NA-Semax and NA-Selank are tweaked versions of two Russian nasal-spray medicines, sold for focus and calm. Pinealon is one of the Russian "bioregulator" peptides, sold to protect the brain. PE-22-28 is pitched as a fast-acting antidepressant peptide from mouse research. Bundled together, it is marketed as sharper thinking, better mood and less anxiety without the side effects of prescription drugs.
03 — The honest take
The only real human evidence connected to this vial is for plain Selank: small Russian studies, mostly by the developers, suggesting it eases anxiety. Those studies were of Selank; the blend contains N-Acetyl Selank. Semax also has small, mostly Russian human studies, but the acetylated, amidated version sold here has never been tested in a human trial. Pinealon rests on lab and rodent work from a single research group, and PE-22-28 has only been tested in mice. Nobody has tested the four together. Mixing them adds up unknowns rather than evidence. None of that proves it does nothing. It means nobody has shown it works, or that it is safe, in people.
04 — What's actually in it
Cognition & Mood
N-Acetyl Semax Amidate
A chemically tweaked, longer-lasting version of the Russian nootropic peptide Semax, sold online for focus and brain health but never tested in a human trial in its own right.
Grade D · No meaningful human evidence yet.

Selank
A nasal-spray anxiety peptide developed and prescribed in Russia, with promising but mostly Russian small-scale human evidence and no licence in the UK.
Grade C · Some human data, far from settled.

Pinealon
A lab-made three-amino-acid peptide claimed to protect brain cells. The evidence is almost entirely from cell dishes and rodents, produced by one research group, with no proper human trials.
Grade D · No meaningful human evidence yet.

PE-22-28
An experimental brain peptide that blocks the TREK-1 potassium channel to act like a fast antidepressant in mice, with zero human testing to date.
Grade D · No meaningful human evidence yet.
Read entry05 — Is it legal in the UK?
None of the four is a licensed medicine in the UK, and none can legally be sold for human use. Plain Semax and Selank are registered medicines in Russia, not in the UK. Blends like this are sold as unlicensed "research chemicals" with no MHRA check on what is in the vial, its purity or its sterility. None is named on the WADA list, but NA-Semax and PE-22-28 are prohibited at all times under S0 (non-approved substances), so a tested athlete using this blend risks a ban.
