What's That Peptide is an educational reference. It is not medical advice. The information here is provided for general information and harm-reduction purposes only. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional, and it must not be used to diagnose or treat any condition.
Not a recommendation
Nothing on this site is a recommendation, endorsement or encouragement to obtain, possess, supply or use any substance. We sell nothing, we take no money from vendors or affiliates, and we link to no sellers. Describing what a peptide is and what it has been studied for is not the same as suggesting you use it.
What our grades mean
Our A–F grade describes how much we know about a peptide in humans — the strength of the published evidence — and nothing more. A grade is not a safety rating, a quality rating, or a green light. A higher grade does not mean a peptide is safe for you, legal for you to obtain, or appropriate for any purpose.
Most of these are not licensed medicines
Most peptides covered here are not licensed medicines in the UK. Many are sold as unlicensed "research chemicals" of unverified purity and content. Their long-term safety in humans is often genuinely unknown. The legal status of obtaining, possessing or using a given substance varies and can change — checking your own legal position is your responsibility.
Accuracy and changes
We work hard to be accurate and to cite real sources, and we review entries over time, but evidence moves and we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current. Content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Always speak to a professional
If you are considering anything that affects your health, talk to a qualified clinician first. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or, in the UK, call 999 or NHS 111.
